AMMAN:

The capital of Jordan with 1.5 million inhabitants. Considered as the heart of Jordan where all Ministries and Embassies are found. A city where the past meets with the future, a cosmopolitan city with magnificent white houses. It used to be the capital of the Ammonites. Then it became one of the Roman Decapolis Cities. Tourists can enjoy the Citadel of Amman where a combination of Roman, Byzantine and Islamic cultures lay their ruins. The biggest Roman Theater in Jordan is also located in Amman in addition to a variety of museums such as the Archeological Museum, the traditional costumes Museum and the Folklore museum. Today Amman is considered to be one of the most sophisticated cities in the Arab World. A very modern city with all the facilities that anybody might need. Jordanians, Arabs and Foreigners from different countries are living together in an ideal multicultural society.

JERASH:

45 min. drive from the Amman. Believed to be the best well preserved Greco-Roman city in the Middle East. Built in the 4th century BC during the invasion of Alexander the Great. Occupied by the Persians, the Romans, Byzantine and the Muslims.

The tourists can enjoy Roman Monuments such as the north and the south Theaters, Temples of Zeus and Artimes, a Forum and colonnaded streets. In addition to Byzantine churches.



MADABA:

One of the main stations of the ancient King’s way. Lies in the heart of the Biblical Kingdom of Moab. The prime time of this city was during the Byzantine period. As the city was full of churches with mosaic floors. The main site to be visited is the Church of St. George. A church with a floor of a unique mosaic Map of Egypt, Jordan and the Promise Land. The Map is believed to be the first one for this Area, as it was built in the 6th century A.D .

MOUNT NEBO:

The place where it is believed that Moses was buried. Mentioned in the Old Testament as God spoke with Moses about this place when God ordered Moses to look at the Promise Land before he ordered him to die at Mount Nebo.

Tourists visit churches complex called the Memorial of Moses, where the best well preserved mosaic floor in Jordan can be seen. A great view of the Dead Sea and the Palestinian mountains also can be seen from that great place.


KERAK:

A small traditional town located in the middle of Jordan. A town rich of history from the 10th century B.C as it was the capital of the Moabite Kingdom until the Ottomans. Tourists visit the 12th century Crusader Castle of Kerak. A huge castle with Towers and underground Tunnels. The castle was conquered by Salah Ed-Din, then it was rebuilt and enlarged by the Muslims.

PETRA:

The gym of Jordan. One of the most unique places on earth. A Red-Rose colored city which was the capital of the Nabateans who took over the Edomites. Tourists can enjoy walking through the 1.2 Klm. Narrow canyon (the Siq), a nature carved road between two mountains with great colored sand stones. Water channels and holy niches can be seen on the walls of the Siq.

The whole city is full of magnificent carved monuments such as tombs and a theater. The most famous monument in Petra is the Treasury, in addition to the Royal Tombs and the 800 steps high Monastery.

Petra is a place which easily can be considered as the eighth Wonder of the World.

  AQABA:

The Southern Gate of Jordan. The only Jordanian city on the Sea which makes it one of the most Jordanian cities Tourists can enjoy the Calm water of the Red Sea. Diving and snorkeling are great experiences in Aqaba, where the Sea is rich of colored Fishes and Corals. The weather of Aqaba is warm all year long which makes it a place to visit in all seasons.

WADI RUM:

The place where the ships of Mountains sail on the sea of Sands. Tourists can enjoy the calm sandy desert and the beautiful rock formations of the mountains. A great camping area and an ideal place for mountain climbers and cliff hangers. A variety of Jeep tours are done at Wadi Rum from one hour to a whole day. Camel tours, hiking between the mountains and walking over the sand dunes also can be enjoyed by the tourists. The place is also famous of being the place where Lawrence of Arabia lived with Bedouins during the Arab revolution against the Turks.

UM QAIS:

A Greco-Roman city located in the north of Jordan. Old Roman ruins for Theaters and Streets can be found, in addition to the unique Byzantine Octagonal church. The best to be seen at Um Qais is the View of the Golan Hights and the Sea of Galilee.

AJLUN:

A 12th century Islamic Castle, built by one of the leaders of Salah Ed-din during the crusader wars. A huge castle with great views of the Palestinian mountains. The castle was built on top of one of the highest mountains of Jordan.

THE DEAD SEA:

Located on the lowest part on earth, around 400 meters below sea level. An 80 klm long lake, rich of a variety of minerals that make the water very healthy for the skin and also helps in healing from Skin diseases. It is called the Dead Sea as no creatures live in its water due to the high percentage of salt which reaches around 33%.

DESERT CASTLES:

They are called the Desert Castles as most of these castles were built in the Eastern Desert. Most of them were built during the Islamic Umayad Era. The most frequent visited castles are:
